As a potential purchaser of a This Little Piggy USA mini pig, it is imperative you read and agree to this adoption and sales agreement outlining our terms and conditions of sale/adoption, spay and neuter policy prior to submitting our adoption application. 

 

Once an adoption request application is submitted, it will be reviewed in the order in which it is received. Approval of applications is at the sole discretion of This Little Piggy USA. This Little Piggy USA reserves the right to deny sale of our mini pigs at any given time. This Little Piggy USA will notify the applicant of approval or denial of said application via email. Should said application be approved, the potential purchaser will be notified of availability of chosen piglet(s.) If chosen piglet(s) is/are unavailable, Seller will notify buyer of available piglets. At that time, purchaser may choose an available piglet or to wait for an upcoming litter. Buyer must notify seller via email of chosen piglet or decision to wait for an upcoming litter. 

 

Once the purchaser receives the confirmation email, purchaser may proceed with making a non-refundable (no exceptions) deposit towards chosen piglet via PayPal or Venmo. This transaction is safe and secure with all major credit cards accepted. Purchaser is responsible for PayPal and/or Venmo's 4% transaction fee of the total sales price. By signing this agreement, purchaser acknowledges all deposits are non-refundable. Purchaser will have 24 hours after receiving confirmation email to make the deposit reserving chosen piglet(s.) Failure to make the deposit payment within the 24-hour period will forfeit the hold, consequently returning the piglet(s) to available inventory. 

 

Once the piglet is fully weaned at approximately 6-8 weeks old, the purchaser will be notified of the final balance due and anticipated shipping/pick up date via email. Purchaser is responsible for shipping fees, which are in addition to the cost of the piglet/pig. Final payment must be made within 24 hours of receiving email via PayPal. Once final payment is received, shipping or pick up arrangements will be made. Failure to make the final payment balance as stated above will result in cancellation of the purchase. The reserved piglet will be returned to available status and the non-refundable deposit will be forfeited. All adoptions are final, and refunds will not be given once a pig has been purchased. There are no exceptions to this policy.

Mini pig ownership is a lifelong commitment, which is approximately 15-20 years. Placing each piglet in a loving forever home is our priority. Purchaser agrees that should extenuating circumstances arise and you are no longer able to keep your pig, the pig will be returned to This Little Piggy USA's ownership and possession, at the purchaser's expense. Purchaser is responsible for all fees associated with return of the pig(s).

It is understood by purchaser that all miniature pigs purchased or adopted are sold as pets. This Little Piggy USA does not offer breeding rights. This Little Piggy USA strictly prohibits the use of pigs purchased or adopted for breeding purposes. Purchaser agrees to spay/neuter purchased piglet prior to age of sexual maturity, which is six months old for females and 2 months old for males.  Pigs purchased/adopted over the age of sexual maturity must be spayed/neutered within three weeks of possession, by purchaser. Purchaser is responsible for all fees associated with spay/neuter of piglet/pig and is aware spay/neuter is an additional fee. Once the spay or neuter is completed, documentation from a licensed veterinarian stating proof of said spay/neuter must be received by seller via email prior to the piglets age of six months.

 

Failure to comply with This Little Piggy's spay and neuter policy will result in a fee $7,500.00 seven thousand five hundred dollars, the average breeding value of one litter. In addition, the purchaser will be responsible for paying This Little Piggy USA's attorney fees to recover the penalty. 

 

 

 

 

All piglets/pigs will be examined by a licensed veterinarian and issued a Health Certificate prior to pick up or shipping. A health certificate will accompany your piglet at the time of possession. All piglets are guaranteed to be in good health and free of visible signs of disease at the time of possession. Piglets will be de-wormed and administered the necessary dosage of iron, prior to possession. Each mini pig purchased from This Little Piggy USA is guaranteed healthy at the time of sale. No piglet/pig leaves our care under 6-8 weeks old. No Exceptions. This is to ensure the health and safety of our piglets. Piglets must be weaned and eating solid food.
